There are certain procedures that can take place to make the results more accurate, for example the meter wheel not being in millimeter. The height factor doesnââ¬â¢t affect whether or not our accuracy is rational however, it just affects increases/decreases the angle depending on the height of the observer. In conclusion, the height of the person does not affect the accuracy as it is added in later and does not affect our final result. Percentage Error Unfortunately, since there wasnââ¬â¢t a specific measurement for us to be able to calculate the error and find whether or not our calculations/accuracy were clear. ? Sometimes the reading can be more than 1cm e. g. 1cm and 4mm. â⬠¢The horizontal distance should be measured from the tips of the clinometer to the pole, instead of measuring from the body to the pole. This method is used because that is where you start to measure the angle. â⬠¢The clinometer used, gives angle to the nearest 10 degrees, but it would be more accurate to use a clinometer that gives angle in every 1 degree.
